I suspect you do too. Be it the Tooth Fairy, the Birthday Fairy, or even the lesser known Sock Fairy, who borrows socks from your washing machine, and nearly always forgets to return them.
Well, the Natural Mamas House is no different. We have several fairies who come to visit the forum throughout the year. Our most famous fairy is the Craft Fairy. I think we see her once or twice a year and she leaves the most wonderful handmade gifts of shawls, bags, blankets, cushions and much more. We even have a fairy who brings pretty gifts to Big Camp and shares them out. Last year we had our first visit from a Stationery Fairy who brought the most amazing pens, papers and all other kinds of equipment that you couldn’t even begin to imagine.
Right now, if you pay us a visit, you might be lucky enough to see a Kitchen Fairy. Fairies are shy creatures, but in a corner of the Lounge there is a fairy door and sometimes you can catch a glimpse of a fairy, watching from the Fairy House.
If you are new* to the Natural Mamas and would like to see more of what our fairies do, sign in and stop by the Fairy House in the Lounge http://www.naturalmamas.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?143-Fairy-House and have a look inside. When one of us receive a gift we post pictues on a reveal thread, and sometimes the fairies tease us by showing us pictures of the gifts they are working on. Fairy time is a magical time in the Natural Mamas house and you may see lots of chatter and excitement about the forthcoming fairy visit.
If you have 500 posts you can sign up to receive participate in a gift exchange with the Kitchen Fairy whilst she is visiting the forum. Full details are here, but you will need to be quick as the Fairy Queen says the last day to register is Friday 26 February 2016: http://www.naturalmamas.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?261031-Magic-Kitchen-Fairy-Swap-2016-SIGN-UP-SIGN-UP
If you don’t have 500 posts, do stop by and have a read of some of the fairy threads. Feel free to post on them if you like. If you are feeling shy, how about posting on the introductions thread, and we will do our best to make you feel welcome. You never know, by the time the next fairy visits us, you may have built up enough posts to join in – now, that would be magical.
* Because fairies are very shy, I am afraid you will not be able to see them if you are logged in as “guest”.
